About Ayodele Arigbabu.

An alumni of the British Council / Pan African University ‘Creative Lives’ Creative Enterprise Programme, Ayodele Arigbabu studied architecture at the University of Lagos and graduated with a Masters in Environmental Design in 2003. He is currently enrolled for another graduate programme at Middlesex University with a Msc Creative Technology degree in view.

Ayo was an associate at the Lawson + Odeinde Partnership, a firm of architects in Lagos until 2008, after which he founded Design And Dream Arts (DADA) Enterprises under which the DADA books publishing imprint was created in 2008. DADA books has since published the works of a growing list of award winning authors.

Ayo is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and of the Committee for Relevant Art - organizers of the annual Lagos Book and Art Festival (where he has served in designing and producing the festival since 2003).

Together with Alexander Akaahs, Ayo runs an architectural practice called Architects’ Collaborative Enterprise (ACE) which is fast gaining acknowledgement as one of the emerging architectural practices growing out of Nigeria. The practice offers critical design solutions from their Lagos office and engages in speculative and theoretical work as a part of the creative process.
