As part of Goethe Institut's African Futures exhibition, you are invited to an unusual workshop aimed at uniting story tellers, artists, and dreamers of different backgrounds and experience levels in exploring different techniques of image based storytelling with practical tips on using digital tools for storytelling.

You like to draw? You like to make images with computers? You wish you could? You want to show people how to do it? The come on over! This workshop is targeted at young writers, artists and other creative people who are curious about using digital tools for story-telling and more established artists who want to mentor younger ones in creating futuristic worlds populated with futuristic characters; and it's co-ordinated by Dream Arts & Design Agency in collaboration with ReelKids.

Only a handful of computers will be available so it would be super cool if you bring your laptop. We're introducing participants to free / affordable software for creating comics, digital art, graphics and games. If you are a digital artist, game developer and would like to play around with stuff, you're most welcome, drop us a line, and if you're not, if you're just curious, no problem, just sign up!
